This is my response to the story the Veldt:
This story reminds me of an imaginative type of plot. Almost everything seemed to be made up but to the kids it was real. When I was little, my bother and I would always come up with imaginary places and things and pretend we were there. It seemed like a wonder of nature coming to life, but to the parents it's either scary, confusing, or just plain annoying. Sometimes parents don't seem to understand the child's part of imagination. But in the Veldt, it was somehow real and in the end its like the parents just vanished. It felt like a mystery like you didn't know exactly what was going on or what was going to happen even after reading the ending. It had a creepy feel to it, like there were some parts still missing, almost haunting. For me, as long as I was happy with what I had, and could imagine something was real, I was fine. But if someone tells me otherwise, things probably won't end well. The children were really attached to the nursery but the parents wanted to take it away, and then they started freaking out. That was me when I was little. Also as kids, we didn't like the fact about moving to a different house very much. We had a hard childhood and didn't know what was going on with the world unless we heard it from school, though my parents didn't spoil me and my brother too much but my grandma did. The more spoiled you were, the more lazy you become especially as a child. Parents still need to learn how to raise kids properly, even now.

3D tape shoes
These are my shoes in-progress, and they are made entirely out of tape. I still have to do the laces and the details around and under the shoes.
This is my original pair of shoes that is used as a reference to make the shoes.
These are my finished pair of shoes made entirely out of masking tape. There's a side view and a top view of the shoes.
